De Asstronaut is a wonderful initiative based in Utrecht, the Netherlands, offering education and specialized care for children with autism. The name “Asstronaut” is a creative play on the Dutch abbreviation “ASS,” which stands for Autisme Spectrum Stoornis (Autism Spectrum Disorder).
I had the joy of designing their logo and a series of illustrations that reflect the foundation’s playful, inclusive, and imaginative spirit. The visual identity aims to be both approachable and empowering — celebrating neurodiversity while creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for children and families alike.
This project was especially meaningful to me, as it combined thoughtful design with a mission that truly matters.
